Importance of World Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day is observed every year on 10 October. The COVID-19 pandemic has confirmed that there is a close link between our physical health and our mental health. But still most of the people don't pay attention to it. Physical and mental health are like two sides of the same coin. Ignoring any one aspect affects the other aspect in a negative way. From old age to school going children are also facing this problem. So instead of hiding this problem, it needs attention. Otherwise, the situation may worsen in the coming time.
On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, ITC Fiama in collaboration with NielsenIQ released its second consecutive mental health survey. This survey was done to find out the causes of stress with the changing lifestyle of youth in India. Survey results show that work is the biggest cause of stress for Millennials, while relationships and breakups for GenZ.
